Back in November, actor Krrip Kapur Suri announced that he and wife Simran were all set to welcome their first child. While the initial date set for Simran's delivery was Valentine's Day in February, its a January baby for Krrip and his wife, who welcomed their baby girl on January 19, 2020. Confirming the same to Bombay Times, Krrip revealed, "We have been blessed with Goddess Lakshmi. It’s an amazing feeling and Simran and I are on cloud nine. We can’t express our happiness in words. In his November interview, Krrip had said that while he and Simran want a healthy baby, but were inclined towards a baby girl. He had said, "We can’t describe in words how excited we are. Both of us want a daughter, but going by the kicks I saw during Simran’s sonography, I feel that it will be a boy (laughs!). As of now, I am busy pampering and taking care of my wife. I am spending quality time with her and my baby." And voila! Their wish has come true.

He also went on to reveal her name. "We have named her Ray Kapur Suri, as she is our ‘Ray’ of hope, peace, love and happiness. She is everything that we ever dreamt of in life."

While it's about time happiness knocked on their doors, Krrip and Simran have faced some really trying and testing times. Back in 2017, Krrip lost his father on the same day that he was set to marry Simran, so the pair tied the knot in a simple ritual with Krrip filling sindoor in Simran's forehead. The pair tied the knot with all the rituals and in the presence of family and friends in 2018. Congratulations Krrip & Simran!
