Came back home, the lost soldier, to fight along with the rightful warriors! Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) came back to Winterfell, to protect the North from the walking dead. The young prince had earlier betrayed Winterfell and made himself the King of the North, until Ramsay Bolton plucked him out and tortured him in the living hell. The reunion of Theon with Sansa Stark was breathtaking, as the two hugged out their emotions. Now, with many different and strange relationships that happen in the Game Of Thrones, it comes as no surprise if something romantic cooks between the two! But, is it? Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 Recap: From Jaime Lannister’s Reprieval to Arya Stark’s Loss of Virginity, All That Happened in ‘Quiet in the Realm’ (SPOILER ALERT).

The second episode of Game Of Thrones season 8 was aired today and we saw the shifts in many relations and revelations. Many unique love stories were highlighted, some were shredded apart in sheer shock, while some remained under the blanket of speculations. Arya Stark-Gendry’s intimate scenes revealed the blooming affection, the mushy eye contact of Ser Jaime Lannister-Brienne Of Tarth reminded of the impending love story, and the open flirting and horny stares of Tormund were enough to dictate his open love to Brienne. However, in one of the most unexpected turns of events, we saw something building up between Sansa and Theon. But, was it romantic?

Sansa and Theon’s reunion was one of the most emotionally rich reunions and while we were totally expecting a hug coming, the look of longing on the Lady of the North was a bit too much to digest! Well, the bond goes back to season 5, when Ramsey had cut Theon to pieces and Sansa was violated. The two held each other’s hands and the Lady brought him back from the brink of destruction, only to remind who he really was. He later killed Ramsey’s girlfriend to get the revenge and set them both free. The two survived the long chilly winter and escaped from the claws of a monster.

Adding more curiosity to their story, Sansa decided to have her last meal (well, at least she thought it’s her last meal before the fight with the dead) with Theon. The smiling face and affectionate eyes give away a lot. However, given Sansa’s history of sexual harassment, we would much rather wait for her to reveal the truth. The final season of Game of Thrones has begun and the fans are already going gaga over it. The Night King was shown for the first time today in this season. The battle is now nearer than ever, as the army of dead has already reached the North. All we can do is wait and anticipate, what the series has in store for us.
