The King Trailer: Timothée Chalamet is a Reluctant Ruler in Netflix's Ambitious Project Based on Shakespeare's Plays (Watch Video)

Timothée Chalamet shares the screen space with Edgerton, Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson, and Lily-Rose Depp in this David Michôd directorial for Netflix. The story revolves around King Henry V of England who was reluctant to claim the throne and had even given up his royal life. However, circumstances compel him to take the charge and shed his inhibitions.

Move over Game over Thrones for Netflix's next series is on similar lines and who knows maybe better! Timothée Chalamet is set to stun you with his portrayal of Henry V in The King, the teaser of which was dropped only recently. The trailer shows the reluctance on Timothy's part to claim the mighty throne. It portrays his hesitation to live a royal life and why she prefers living with the commoners instead. However, after the death of his father, Henry IV, he's assigned the charge to rule his kingdom and clear the mess his father left behind. Besides Timothy, the series also stars Edgerton, Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson, and Lily-Rose Depp. It will premiere at the upcoming Venice Film Festival, though it won't compete in any category. Netflix has scheduled its release in the Fall and we are already counting the days for it.
