One of DC's most successful superhero series on the small screen, The Flash, is returning for the sixth season. The last couple of seasons for the show has been underwhelming affairs, but its looks like things are going to be spiced up for the upcoming season. For one, there is going to be a major influence of the biggest crossover event in the CW DC universe - Crisis on Infinite Earths - over The Flash Season 6, as hinted in the cliffhanger ending of the last season. And if that's not a hint enough, then the recently unveiled trailer of The Flash season 6 at the San Diego Comic-Con is proof enough. San Diego Comic-Con 2019: From Marvel’s Phase 4 Projects to the Russo Bros Panel, 7 Events We Are Too Excited About!

The Comic-Con trailer not only teased us at how the upcoming season of The Flash will play into the crossover, but also revealed its new big baddie. The trailer begins with the antagonist standing in a cemetery overlooking a grave, while his narration introduces his character, Dr Cross aka Bloodwork.

We see scenes of The Flash and his team in deep peril, trying to figure out the new dangers in their city, as well as the effects of the Crisis. Some good news here - contrary to certain rumours, Carlos Valdes' is returning as Cisco Ramon, though his alter-ego Vibe is not hinted at. Towards the end of the trailer, we finally see the villain reveal, and that he is played by Heroes fame Sendhil Ramamurthy, who was also the lead in Ekta Kapoor's Shor in the City.
