Britain's political climate is quickly changing and the monarchy is struggling. Colman says in the new trailer, “the place has fallen apart”, and it's not just about the nation in crisis but also their personal lives as Prince Charles gets involved with Camilla Shand (later Parker-Bowles). The third season will be focussing on Labour prime minister Harold Wilson's time in the '60s and '70s.

The new trailer certainly looks exciting considering now we also get to see much of Charles and Elizabeth's dynamic. We see him saying in the promo, "Am I listened to in this family? Am I seen for who and what I am? No," whilst talking to his mother and these are the bits that are surely going to pique interest among the audiences.

Apart from Colman and Menzies, other cast members on the new season include Ben Daniels as Margaret's husband Antony Armstrong-Jones (aka Lord Snowdon), Erin Doherty as Princess Anne and Charles Dance as Lord Mountbatten. The new season of The Crown premieres on Netflix from November 17.
