The Book of Boba Fett just had its episode six premiere, but instead of being a Boba Fett episode, we again got an episode heavily featuring Mando. Not only that, the episode features a bunch of a camoes from characters not only from The Mandalorian, but also from Star Wars: Clone Wars. The Book of Boba Fett Episode Five sees Din Djarin deliver his gift to Grogu, while also running into Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. After that he joins the rank of Boba Fett’s army and tries getting recruits for him. The Book of Boba Fett Episode 3 Review: Temuera Morrison’s Star Wars Spin-Off Delivers a Rushed Outing But Involves a Nice Little Cameo! (LatestLY Exclusive).

While the episode heavily focuses on Din Djarin, a lot of time is also spent on Grogu’s storyline. We get to see more of his training with Luke Skywalker and where that might lead to in The Mandalorian Season 3. The episode also features the return of Timothy Olyphant’s Cob Vanth, who later on in the episode has a duel with a character returning from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. With that being said, here is the ending to The Book of Boba Fett Episode Six explained. The Book of Boba Fett Episode 4 Review: Ming-Na Wen Shines in This Star Wars Spin-Off Outing That Has a Mandalorian Tease at the End! The End

After Din leaves Cob Vanth, Vanth asks his towns folk to be gathered to explain them that they will be joining the fight. Just before he can do that, he is greeted by a bounty hunter who warns him that the Pyke’s will match the pay of Boba, all he has to do is stay out of the fight. Vanth not agreeing, gets ready for a duel. Just as Vanth is about to shoot him, the bounty hunter shoots him and incapacitates him.

The climax then features Luke give Grogu his gift from Din. But before Grogu can take it, Luke gives him a choice. He can either take the gift and stop his training as Jedi, or he can take Yoda’s lightsaber and continue his training. Before Grogu could make a decision, the episode ends.

Who is the Bounty Hunter?

Now of course you might be wondering who the bounty hunter might be, well if you have watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars then you might know who that might be. But if you haven’t, then don’t worry we have you covered.

Cad Bane is the bounty hunter we see. We see him make his debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The basic idea behind Cad Bane is that he is from the planet of Duro. In Star Wars, he is portrayed as a ruthless bounty hunter who is employed by villains.

He has a wide variety of gadgets that are specifically designed to counter the abilities of a Jedi. Also in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, he is regarded as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy.

It looks like the episode has set him up as a primary antagonist, and that going forward he might be a central part of The Mandaloria saga.

What About Grogu?

With Grogu, it really does set up some of the conflicts we might see in The Mandalorian Season 3. It looks like the plotline with Grogu might lead towards him choosing the Jedi life.

We Might also be getting a lot more of Luke Skywalker because of how major of character he seems like to be. With him training Grogu to be a Jedi and we seeing a glimpse of Luke's Jedi school, we are definitely getting some kind of origins to characters we saw in the sequel trilogy.

The Book of Boba Fett will have its finale premiere next week on Dinsey+ Hotstar next Wednesday at 1:31pm.
