Disha Vakani, who became a household name with the portrayal of her character of Daya Ben in the popular comedy show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has been missing for a while as she went on maternity leave last year. The actress played one of the most-loved characters of Daya Ben and was loved for her typical style and accent on the show. Disha, who has welcomed a beautiful baby daughter, would time and again get requests for returning to the show. However, the actress would reply to her fans saying that "circumstances" are such that she can't be a part of the show. Now the latest reports suggest that the actress will soon be returning to the show as Daya Ben (Dilip Joshi's (aka Jethalal Gada) on-screen wife in the show).

While fans have been awaiting her return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) with bated breath, the actress has finally given a nod and will soon make a comeback on the show, but there are few terms and conditions applied to it. First and foremost is the hike in her fee. The actress has reportedly demanded a hike; Disha, who used to charge Rs 1.25 lakh per episode, will now be charging Rs 1.50 lakh per episode. Speaking of working hours, the actress has asked the makers of the show if she could only work for 15 days in the 11 am to 6 pm shift. Reports also suggest that she wants to wrap up with her shoot by 6 pm in any condition as she can't compromise on spending quality time with her daughter and family. Reportedly, owing to Disha's massive fan following, the makers agreed to all her demands.

Recently, the actress had taken to Instagram to post a picture of the cake, written Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on it. Looks like, fans are not the only ones who are missing her on the show, she too is terribly missing playing the character of Daya Ben, that garnered her humongous popularity. Disha captioned her post on Instagram as, "Tarak mehta ka ooltah chashmah completed 2500 happy sodes💃💃 Missing all the cast peoples very much 💖

Thanks all the fans for loving us. #neelatelefilms"

On the personal front, the actress, who got married to Mayur Pandya (a chartered accountant) on November 24, 2015, was blessed with a baby girl in November 2017. Reports indicate that the little bundle of joy arrived nearly two weeks before the delivery date, which was December 20 (2017). The actress had a grand baby shower at her residence in the city, while present at the event were Dilip Joshi, Samay Shah, Munmun Dutta and of course reel son Taapu aka Bhavya Gandhi.
