Navjot Singh Sidhu Sacked from The Kapil Sharma Show over His Pulwama Row

A day after 40 CRPF jawans were martyred when explosive-laden SUV rammed into one of the buses out of a 70-vehicle CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu said, "Nations cannot be held responsible for the dastardly acts of terrorists. The terrorists do not have deen, mazhab (sect and religion). There are good, the bad and the ugly. Every institution has them. Every nation has them. The ugly need to be punished. But individuals cannot be blamed for the dastardly act." This statement of Sidhu didn’t go down well with the netizens and they they began bashing him severely on social media, demanding that the channel should be boycotted till Sidhu is removed from the show. Well, Navjot has been replaced by Archana Puran Singh. Recently, Sony TV officially announced her inclusion in The Kapil Sharma Show and welcomed her on board.

Mariam Khan Reporting Live actress Mansi Sharma, who got engaged to Yuvraj in February 2017, tied the knot with Punjabi singer Yuvraj Hans on February 21 in the presence of their families and close-friends in a traditional ceremony. It was a destination wedding for the couple as the ceremony took place in Punjab. The pair colour-coordinated and looked splendid with Mansi in a blue sharara with golden work and Yuvraj in a golden sherwani with a matching blue-hued dupatta.

Fire Breaks Out at Saumya Tandon’s House, Actor Escapes Unhurt

Recently, Saumya Tandon’s house caught fire but fortunately the actress did not suffer any injury and the fire was doused in time. The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress took to the micro-blogging site to share a picture of the section of the house which got burnt. She wrote on Twitter, "Had fire in my house 😢, lessons learnt 1. Never sleep with liquit mosquito replant next to your bed especially if it’s over take it off the switch 2. Never have loose connection things plugged in 3. Learn to use fire extinguishers infact buy n keep it at home now."

Ishqbaaz's Manjiri Pupala’s Exit From the Star Plus Show CONFIRMED!

The second season of Star Plus’ Ishqbaaz saw some huge changes in terms of the cast. Barring Nakuul Mehta, the entire cast quit the show and a new lead was brought opposite Nakuul Mehta. Actress Manjiri Pupala, a well-known face in the Marathi entertainment industry, was roped in to play Nakuul's love interest in Dhinchak Ishqbaaz. But since the ardent fans of Ishqbaaz were not really happy with the casting or the jodi, the makers decided to replace her. As the makers started auditioning for another actress and roped in Niti Taylor alongside Nakuul, Manjiri chose to quit the show. In a statement to Spotboye, a source close to the development said, "Yes, Manjiri is not shooting for Ishqbaaaz currently. She chose to walk out of the show and there seems to be no scope of her return in the near future."

After Ishqbaaz, Surbhi Chandna to Play the Lead in Sanjivani Remake?

Ishqbaaaz fame Surbhi Chandna, whose abrupt exit from the show had not been taken down too well by the fans, is all set to return to the small screen. The actress will mostly make her comeback with an upcoming show on Star Plus. According to a report in Telly Chakkar, Siddharth Malhotra is all set to bring popular medical TV show Sanjivani back on the television. If the reports are anything to go by, the the third season will soon return on Star Plus and Surbhi Chandna has been approached by the makers to play the female lead in the remake of the TV show. Reportedly, the project is currently at the planning stage and the casting will take much time. Stay tuned to this space for further updates.
