The popular 2012 medical drama Sanjivani is all set to make a comeback on Star Plus on August 12 and fans can't seem to contain their excitement. When the makers dropped the first promo online, it took us all on a nostalgic ride. And recently, the channel released another clip, announcing the premiere date and also confirming the reports about Sanjivani 2 replacing Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji to take the 7: 30 PM slot. While makers are treating their audience with first look pictures and promos, the lead actress Surbhi Chandna has been treating her fans and followers with BTS pictures from the sets. Surbhi Chandna, who is currently shooting for the show, has been treating her fans with umpteen posts from the sets of Sanjivani 2. From giving us a sneak-peek of her look from the operation theatre to behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the sets, Surbhi can't stop being evident about her excitement for the show. Recently, the actress took to the photo-sharing app to share a group picture of the team, sporting the doctors uniform. Meanwhile, Surbhi, recently in an attempt to promote her upcoming show, took to the photo-sharing app to initiate a challenge called the #whistlechallenge (to do the extremely popular whistle tune in Sanjivani).

While she nailed it like a pro, she further challenged her industry friends - Shivangi Joshi, Mohit Malik, Nakuul Mehta, Shrenu Parikh, Mansi Srivastava, and Surbhi Jyoti - to take up the challenge. And soon Sanjivani 2 Whistle Challenge took the internet by storm as several other actors of the fraternity too participated.

Recently the makers unveiled the first look of Namit Khanna, who is playing the male lead in Sanjivani 2 as Dr Sid and fans could stop gushing over him as he goes shirtless in the new series of pictures for Sanjivani 2. The actor captioned this post as, "Saving lives not just in the hospital but wherever I see a life in danger!
