However, Rupsa’s proud mother Shivani shares, “We live in a kacha house where we even face water lodging problems at times. Jo hume karna chahiye tha Rupsa ke liye wo Rupsa kar rahi hai hamare liye. She is being a support for our family. There were times when Rupsa has slept on an empty stomach because the food would go bad and there was nothing that I could cook for her. Ask her about her fondest memories from the show, she recalls co-contestants and pranksters Tejas and Akash. She says, “Tejas bhaiyya hamesha sabke sath prank karte rahte the. Jab Tejas Bhaiyya aur Akash bhaiyya mere sath prank kiye the mujhe unnhe thappad maarne me boht maza aya tha.”

Revealing about Rupsa’s equations with her Super guru and mentor Nishant Bhat, mother Shivani says, “I am happy, but I didn’t expect her to win the show. Not because I doubt her talent and capabilities, but because she is moody at times. You can’t make her do anything against her will. Initially, she didn’t gel well with Nishant Sir. However, eventually he managed to become her favourite and the winning credit goes to him as well.”

Ask Rupsa's choreographer on his journey with Nishant, he recalls, "I still remember, when I was paired with Rupsa, I was perplexed. She is only 6 years old. So it proved to be a learning ground for me – from becoming friends with her to identifying her strengths as a dancer to working according to her moods, to building that chemistry together and many other things. It took time, but I am glad we could establish a bond. She doesn’t speak much, but her dancing does all the talking. She is a gifted child and extremely hardworking. I wish her the best in all that the future holds for her!”

Rupsa was awarded prize money of Rupees 15 Lakh. And her dream is to make a ‘Princess Ghar’.
