Television actress Snigdha Akolkar, who is best known for the character of Kaushalya in the mythological show Siya Ke Ram (2015-2016), recently tied the knot with Sreeram Ramanathan in a private ceremony. The ceremony was graced by her close friends and family members only. According to a report in Tellychakkar, the 34-year-old actress got married as per Tamil traditions on August 25, 2019. Confirming the same to the web portal, Snigdha said, "The marriage took place on 25th August at Pune. It was a private affair, and only my close friends and relatives were present."

While the actress hasn't uploaded any pictures from her D-Day, her friend and celebrity photographer Fahim Mulla took to the photo-sharing (Instagram) app to share a couple of pictures from Snigdha's big day and wrote, "And then, My Girl kick starts a new important part of her life, with a BANG! Actress Snigdha Akolkar!" Snigdha too has commented on one of her favourite clicks of Mulla, which read, "Thank you so so much Fahim bhai"

In the pictures, Snigdha looks stunning as she sports a red Kanjivaram sari. She rounded her wedding look with gajra and traditional gold jewellery. Well, what further enhanced their super soothing shoot was their unparalleled love and romance which was evident in the pictures.

Speaking of honeymoon plans, Snigdha revealed, "Well, since we both are busy with work, we plan to go for two honeymoon vacations. At the moment, we will go on a short trip, and later for a prolonged holiday."

On the professional front, Snigdha, who is a talented and widely acclaimed personality of the television industry, will be seen in Netflix India Original Baahubali: Before the Beginning. The actress, who made her small screen debut in 2005 as Shyamlee in Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan, has also featured in several shows such as Vikram Bhatt's web series Zakhmi, Colors' Shani, Sony TV's Vaidehi Zee TV's Bandhan and in a Bollywood film Love U...Mr. Kalakaar alongside Tusshar Kapoor.
