2018 was the year of the celebrity wedding! Actor Shweta Tripathi, popular for her roles in the movies Haraamkhor and Masaan, recently tied the knot with longtime partner and rapper Chaitnya Sharma aka Slowcheeta in Goa. The wedding was attended by the couple’s close friends and family at a resort in Goa. Shweta and Chaitnya had been together for five long years before they decided to make things official. "We walked seven circles around a fire with our closest people around to make sure heaven keeps us together for the rest of our lives. It doesn’t get better than this!" the couple said on their wedding.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim
Sasural Simar actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who met seven years back, exchanged wedding vows in a traditional but private ceremony on February 22, 2018, following the Muslim traditions. Their wedding ceremony is took place in Shoaib’s hometown amidst family and close friends. From their haldi and mehendi ceremonies to sangeet ceremony, Shoaib and Dipika's pre-wedding ceremonies were full of colours and a hell lot of fun. The couple indeed had one filmy wedding.
Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla
Just like most TV couples, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla also planned a destination wedding as they wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains. Rubina, who is happily married to her longtime beau actor Abhinav Shukla, got married on June 21 at the famous Woodville Palace of Shimla. The duo got married in the presence of their family members and close friends and their wedding was held according to Himachal and Punjabi rituals. Rubina paired her bridal look with maang-tika, chooda and a small set of kaleere.
Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary
Bigg Boss 9 winner Prince Narula and girlfriend Yuvika Chaudhary make for one of the most adorable couples of telly town. The two, who secretly got engaged (on Valentine's Day), exchanged the wedding vows on October 12, 2018. The duo chose a traditional wedding; making it an extremely filmy and fun affair. Television stars like Jay Bhanushali – Mahi Vij, Gurmeet Choudry – Debina Banerjee, among others, were present. Prince’s close friends Rannvijay Singha, Priyank Sharma and Varun Sood too were seen chilling with the couple and filming videos of the ceremony on their smartphones.

Bharti Singh tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Haarsh Limbachiyaa in a lavish wedding in Goa on December 3, 2018, amidst their close friends and family in attendance. The wedding was attended by popular TV celebs like Adaa Khan, Mahhi Vij, Sunil Grover, Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Anita Hassanandani, Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt. Ahead of the big day, Bharti hosted a classy and sassy cocktail party which marked the attendance of the biggest stars of television, who were dressed in their best evening gowns and tuxedos.

The couple exchanged vows at a beach wedding on Saturday, March 3.

Television hottie Gutam Rode, who shot to fame with Star Plus’ popular shows Saraswatichandra, Mahakumbh, Suryaputra Karn, among others, tied the knot with his longtime beau and Suryaputra Karn co-star Pankhuri Awasthy on February 4, 2018, in a grand destination wedding. Their dreamy destination wedding took place at the Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar town. The couple, who had been discreet about their private life and denied all the rumours of them dating, first met each other on the sets of Suryaputra Karn; they got engaged in an intimate ceremony around Diwali 2017.
