Actress Shweta Tiwari is all set to return to the television screens after 3 years. After her stint as Bindiya from Begusarai ended in 2016, Shweta went on a sabbatical after giving birth to her and husband Abhinav Kohli's son. And now, her professional sabbatical has ended with Sony TV's next show. Yes, as per reports, Shweta has bagged the channel's next offering Mere Dad Ki DulhanShweta Tiwari Accuses Husband Abhinav Kohli of Domestic Violence?

Earlier, there were reports that the makers had roped in actor Varun Badola to play the male lead. And as per the name, the storyline of the show will focus on the bond between a father and his daughter and how his daughter will want to see him settled and try finding a suitable companion for her father. And playing the character of the daughter will be actress Anjali Tatrari. The show has reportedly already gone on floors and is scheduled to be launching sometime around mid-October. While Varun was last seen in Internet Wala Love, Shweta who became a household name with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, did Begusarai which ended in 2016. As for Shweta, she recently grabbed headlines when she filed a domestic violence case against her husband Abhinav Kohli.
