Remember Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi on Sony TV? The show not only gave us a new screen pairing in actors Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh as Sonakshi and Dev (fans tagged them DevAkshi) but also was also what can be termed as a show with a fabulous storyline. The crux of the show was about how the protagonist Dev finds his soulmate in his mother’s nutritionist Sonakshi. However, the duo’s relationship begins to impact Dev and his mother Ishwari’s close-knit bond and also showcased a mother’s insecurities to perfection. Erica Fernandes-Shaheer Sheikh, Nakuul Mehta-Surbhi Chandna, Karan Patel-Divyanka Tripathi – 5 Onscreen Couples Show Rain Is About Passionate Love

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was a huge winner with the audience, and what helped was also actors Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes’ chemistry. Despite the show being Erica’s television debut, the actress managed to amass a huge fan base. Hina Khan in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 or Erica Fernandes From Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi! Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was a realistic take on love and relationships of the new age. In fact, in the storyline, the show not only placed emphasis on single parenting, but also on the culture of house husbands (where the husband stays at home and takes care of the household while the woman goes out to work) and taboos and myths surrounding it.
