Now there's something that will make you go "Whaaaaaat?" Saumya Tandon, who has been playing Anita Bhabhi on Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai for over three years has quit the show. According to reports in Pinkvilla, the actress had handed over her resignation to the producers in March 2018 and has been serving a notice period of 6 months. Though there is no bad blood behind her decision to leave Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. The portal reported that a source close to the actress revealed that she has been playing the role for over three years and wants to try something different now. She wants to try her hand at different roles, though the source also adds that she is not interested in taking up any daily soaps at the moment.

There were also rumours about Saumya entering the Bigg Boss house but she refuted those rumours and told the portal that she will never do the reality show no matter what happens. The actress also confirmed that she has not signed any other show at the moment and doesn't want to take up daily soaps since they require at least one year of commitment. Though we are not sure when her last day of shoot is or when her last episode will air on television.

Fans are surely going to miss her a lot since she has been essaying the role of Gori Mem, as Angoori Bhabhi calls her for over three years. Saumya was also seen in Bollywood film, Jab We Met, as Kareena Kapoor Khan's sister. We wonder what the actress is planning to do after the show and quite excited about it.
