ICYMI, fan-favourite medical-drama Sanjivani is all set for a comeback. The hit TV show has already spawned a spin-off titled, Dill Mill Gaye, which was highly successful. Now, it is time for the audience to return to the roots with a rehash to the original. Mohnish Bahl and Gurdip Punjj, who played the leads in the original, are returning to reprise their roles. They are being joined by Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna. The first promo of the show is out and nostalgia is at an all-time high. The four actors got together to shoot for the promo on July 7. Sayantani Ghosh and Rohit Roy are also new cast members on Sanjivani 2, but they were missing from the shoot as well as the new promo. We are looking forward to seeing them as well. Maybe another promo soon?

A voiceover in the promo says, 'Dhadkane badhane laut raha hai Sanjivani". Well, the line is certainly spot on. Because, our heart's thumping a little faster after watching this promo. Sidharth P Malhotra, who was the creator of Sanjivani in 2002 is on board for the reboot as well.

We also wonder if Dill Mill Gaye's doctors like Dr Armaan and Dr Riddhima will also make an appearance in the reboot. Maybe a cameo? We'd love that.
