This year, Salman Khan will not be hosting just one but two shows on television. Apart from his regular hosting stint in the next season of Bigg Boss, Salman Khan will also reprise his popular quiz show Dus Ka Dum. This will be the second season for the show that first came out in 2008. Dus Ka Dum is based on an international show,  Power of 10, and is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

The new season of the show will begin soon, and the channel has already organised a grand launchpad for Salman Khan to announce the beginning to the media. Dressed in a dapper suit, Salman Khan surely impressed the crowds present with his quirky sense of humour and his hatke attitude. He revealed that he wants Dus Ka Dum to compete with Bigg Boss when it comes to TRP race. Salman also mentioned that in case if he can't take up any of the future seasons of Dus Ka Dum, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar or Sanjay Dutt can take over the role. However, NP Singh - the CEO of SET, confessed they can only imagine Dus Ka Dum with Salman Khan as the host.

As per a report in DNA, Salman Khan has demanded Rs 78 crores for 26 episodes that bring upto Rs 3 crore per episode. "For a long time, Salman was keen on returning to this show. However, the channel wasn’t ready to shell out his asking price. But last year, both parties settled on a fee that they were comfortable with," a source told the daily.
