After the amazing success of Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan is ready with his next web series and why shouldn't he? The Omkara actor was among the first few actors in Bollywood to venture into the web space and Sacred Games was first-ever Indian show to come out on Netflix. Its huge success prompted the actor to explore the web content even further and his next outing will see him collaborate with Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar.

Yes, Said and Zafar are coming together for a web show titled, Tandav, that revolves around Indian politics. Saif is gearing up to play a politician for the very first time and the premise sounds really promising. "My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and [aspires to] become the Prime Minister," he said in his conversation with Mid-Day.

When asked to reveal more details about the project, Saif explained saying, "It is a show based on politics and is set on a massive scale. I don't want to use American examples, but it's along the lines of House Of Cards, [albeit] set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them." Though the actor is now well-versed with the OTT space, Ali will mark his debut with this new show. Clearly, the actor is putting the right foot in all the right directions and we are super impressed with his choices. Did You Know Saif Ali Khan was Approached to play Akshaye Khanna's Role in Race and he Rejected it?

Saif will be next seen in Laal Kaptaan, Jawaani Jaaneman, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Bhoot Police and Dil Bechara.
