After the Madras High Court ordered a ban on the popular video creating and sharing platform TikTok app, which had rage on social media lately, the millions of fans across the globe are fuming with anger, while on the other hand, there are people, who are happy about the act, are applauding the ban. On Thursday, actress Kubbra Sait, who was last seen in Sacred Games, took to the photo-sharing app to express her point of view on the ban and said that she is extremely elated with the decision. She wrote on Twitter, "I can’t begin to express my joy to hearing about Tik Tok being banned in India. The state of derangement was exceedingly painful. I haven’t been happier about a ban." But looks like this did not go down too well with Puncch Beat director and Bigg Boss former contestant, Vikas Gupta, who is also an active Tik Tok user. He took to Twitter to write a series of tweets condemning Kubbra’s take on the government's decision. He wrote, "State of derangement is extremely painful for the people who have to live in the environment of the mentally ill. With all due respect some of the people making these Tiktoks or musically are as talented an artist as you are if not more. Coming from an artist of your caliber it’s"
In another tweet, Vikas tagged all the celebrities from Television and Bollywood industry, who take some time off work to make the 15 seconds video on Tik Tok, which included Sunny Leone, Avneet Kaur, Ahsaas Channa, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, among others. Vikas then concluded his argument by saying why Kubbra didn’t stop her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh from making Tik Tok videos during their film’s promotion. He tweeted, "To promote their film. You dinT Stop @RanveerOfficial or @aliaa08 from being part of Tiktok and use it. At a time when so many people will get effected professionally and personally because of the Ban."

For the unversed, the Chinese app had amassed 120 million monthly users in India but has been under the scanner for a number of highly publicised incidents that have led to increased calls for bans against it. It has been even removed from the Playstore app. Watch this space for further updates.
