Its a hard time for actor and hunk Mohammad Nazim. Nazim who rose to fame after essaying the role of Ahem Modi in Star Plus' 7 pm runaway hit show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, lost his mother this morning (October 31)  to a sudden heart attack. The actor is in a state of shock, as per reports in Tellychakkar. Nazim is currently in his hometown Malerkotla, Punjab, where he was visiting his mother Suraiya, who was apparently unwell since the past few days. The actor's mother breathed her last at 11 am after suffering from a heart attack. Mid-day got in touch with Nazim who confirmed the news with a heavy heart and said, "It's a difficult time for me and my family. It was unexpected and sudden. She was a caring and pure soul who nurtured us with love and affection. May her soul rest in peace."

Nazim, after his successful stint in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, went on to be a pivotal part of shows like Udaan, Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop and is currently seen playing the role of Asgar in Bahu Begum. Our deepest condolences are with Nazim and his family and may his mother's soul rest in peace.
