The latest season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa wrapped its run last night. The winner was announced to be Ishita Vishwakarma. The Jabalpur girl was ecstatic with her win, for which she has worked hard for months. The singer walked away with Rs 5 lakh as the prize along with the trophy. That is not all. The winner was also awarded a brand new car. Can you believe that she is only 16-years-old? She reminds us so much of Shreya Ghoshal, who also won a reality show at a tender age. We hope Ishita becomes a name as popular as Shreya herself.

Tanmay Chaturvedi was declared the first runner up while Sonu Gill came in third in the cutthroat competition. Sahil Solanki, Aishwarya Pandit and Aslam Abdul Majeed were also in the competition. But none of them should be disheartened over losing. If history is anything to go by, singers who did not win reality shows have also fared exceedingly well in their careers. For instance Neha Kakkar and Arijit Singh, both are Bollywood's go-to singer in present times.

Talking about her win, Ishita told BollywoodLife.com, "When the names of the third and second runner-up were announced then my name was not there. In this case, the last fight was to be between me and Sahil Solanki. At that time, I had lost every hope. She is a playback singer and already has a tremendous fan following."

This was the 27th season of India's favourite singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Ishita, the winner, was also a participant on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. Funny thing is, that in this season, she also competed against her mother. Yes, Isihta's mother also participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2019.

This season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was hosted by Aditya Narayan, who is loved by the fans of the show. The season was judged by Wajid Khan, Shekhar Ravjiani, Richa Sharma, and briefly by Sona Mohapatra.
