There were rumours doing rounds that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be going off-air soon and will be replaced by a new show, Mariam Khan-Reporting Live. YHM has been airing for five years and has seen a lot of highs and lows when it comes to TRP. The show saw a massive spike after the Budapest track but saw a dip in ratings recently, which gave fuel to these rumours. Now though the show is not going off-air, it will be replaced from 21st May 2018. Mariam Khan-Reporting Live will air at YHM's time slot from the said date and YHM will be telecast at 10.30 pm.
The new show, however, is a new concept and story of an 8-year-old girl, who sees life through her own unfiltered ways. The show is set in Bhopal and we're pretty sure it's going to be impressive. Commenting on her hectic life, YHM's leading lady Divyanka Tripathi said, "I have very little time and more responsibilities to handle after marriage. My personal and professional commitments are equally important, so time management is of extreme importance. Playing a protagonist in a daily soap on TV, I’m laden with responsibilities and I give it my undivided attention." She added, "My mind is constantly scheduling and re-scheduling things according to my shoot and my spouse. I plan in advance for holidays so that we all get to spend quality time together. We keep the communication channels open so that’s there little space for confusion." We are glad that the show is not going off-air any time soon. Fans would have been crushed if the makers decided to take it off-air. What are your thoughts on this? Tell us in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more.
