Dance reality show judged by Madhuri Dixit, Dance Deewane is just a few weeks old and is already proving to be audience’s favourite show on TV with its different theme and concept. We’ve often seen in several reality shows that many have inspiring stories to share that bring tears to our eyes. One such story is about 19-year-old contestant named Siza who revealed that how her father tortured her mother soon after her birth.

Siza performed on the title track of the movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ and gave a stunning performance that swept the judges off their feet. Before the performance, when asked about her full name, Siza revealed that she doesn’t use her father’s surname, Roy because she doesn’t have good memories of him.

In an exclusive interview with Spotboye, the contestant revealed that her mom and dad separated because her father wanted a son. Her father tortured her mother brutally by holding her mom by the neck and even burned her with iron. She also said that her father didn’t earn a single penny and took money from her mother. Siza also revealed that her father also stopped her mother from buying toys, new clothes and even books for her. He also did not want her to attend a private school.

Siza and her mom eventually walked out on him and haven’t seen his face after that. But her mother had a hard time convincing the authorities in her school and college that he was not a part of their lives anymore and that she couldn’t have his signature on the forms. After knowing about her daughter from newspapers, Siza’s father sent her Rs 1000 but she sent it back as she was not interested in the money.

The format of the show is age no bar and contestants compete in three categories – children, adults and senior citizens. We wish the graceful dancer good luck on being selected as one of the top six contestants in the show.
