Ranveer Singh, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat, alongside his ladylove Deepika Padukone, will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's Simmba opposite Sara Ali Khan. As the film is slated to release on December 28, 2018, the actors are on a promotion spree. On Thursday, Ranveer Singh and Simmba director Rohit Shetty shot the first episode of Sunil Grover's upcoming television show 'Kanpur Waale Khuranas'. Yes Ranveer, Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty are the first guests on Sunil Grover's upcoming show. Last night, Ranveer took to his Instagram stories to share a few pictures and boomerangs from the sets of 'Kanpur Waale Khuranas'.

Going by the pictures, it seems like the Simmba gang had a great time shooting with Sunil Grover. In one of the pictures, Sunil is seen sporting the look of Khilji (Ranveer's character from Padmaavat), while Ranveer is seen playing Jim Sarbh's character 'Malik Kafur'. However, it is yet not known if Sara Ali Khan will the team on the television show. We wonder why she hasn't made it to this set of promotions or is she the surprise element?

Talking about the show, Sunil had earlier told PTI, "I am happy to be back on the small screen with a fresh concept. This character is unlike any I've played before and I am very excited to embark on this journey of entertaining my viewers. The show is sure to charm everyone alike with a theme that resonates with the viewers and keep them hooked onto their television screens at night."

Kanpur Waale Khuranas, which is headlined by Sunil Grover, is all set to premiere on December 15, 2018. Kanpur Waale Khuranas is Sunil's first show as lead after Mad In India, which was a debacle.
