Persistent online drama has finally paid off for Indian television’s original ‘Drama Queen,’ Rakhi Sawant. The 40-year-old has bagged a role on Zee TV’s supernatural-drama, Manmohini and will be seen in the role of ‘chudail’ aka ‘dayan’ (witch). Rakhi shared several clips of her upcoming act on her Instagram page, and it is hilarious AF. Despite the show following a horror theme, there’s anything scary about Manmohini, provided you’re not scared of Rakhi Sawant’s real-life personality. From Anushka Sharma to Sunny Leone, These Actresses Have Portrayed Ghosts In Horror Movies.
Indian television is obsessed with chudails and dayans, and joining the bandwagon is Rakhi Sawant. She will be seen giving Zee TV’s Mohini (Reyhna Pandit) from Manmohini a villainous yet glamorous company. The video shared by the channel’s official Instagram handle writes, “Mohini just got company! Guess WHO! Don't miss #Manmohini, 17th - 25th January at 7:30PM!” And the video is a laugh riot.
It has Rakhi introducing viewers to her character. She is a Maharashtrian chudail, named Chakhua. On this, Mohini tells that she is a chudail from Rajasthan. They are then seen laughing and plotting against Ram and Siya, a newly married couple and show’s protagonists. After a few more moments of sisterhood, Rakhi’s character is shown snapping Mohini’s neck (probably, the only moment, you will not be laughing). Check out all videos and pictures posted by Zee TV and Rakhi Sawant on their Instagram handles.

Was it not funny? Rakhi Sawant never fails to make you laugh with her buffoonery. And she does it again with Manmohini. BTW, her to-be-husband, Deepak Kalal got beaten up by a man near Delhi-Gurgaon toll plaza. The entire assault was recorded on cam as the comedian is seen pleading for his life with folded hands while the other guy continued abusing and thrashing him for posting content on social media.
