Krishma Tanna and Vivek Dahiya's supernatural drama Qayamat Ki Raat is all set to bid goodbye to fans, according to to reports in the media. Yes, you read that right! The show is reportedly going off air next month. Qayamat Ki Raat, which premiered on June 23, last year, and gained popularity slowly for its compelling suspense element, was initially a finite series with 100 episodes. However, the makers decided to continue with the show owing to its good numbers on the TRP charts. According to a report in Times of India that Qayamat Ki Raat will be replaced by another supernatural show, titled Divya Drashti. The new show will feature Sana Sayyad, Sangeeta Ghosh and Mansi Srivastava in prominent roles. Bankrolled by Guruodev Bhalla under the banner of Guruodev Bhalla Productions, Divya Drishti will be a supernatural show, whose concept will be penned by Mahesh Bhatt himself. The story will be around a girl, who will be at intervals possessed by a 'Devi'. She will be able to predict future. Just recently, the makers dropped the first promo of Divya Drashti online.

Speaking of Qayamat Ki Raat, the show is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms. Qayamat Ki Raat, revolves around a young couple, Gauri and Rajyavardhan, who find a way to survive an evil curse from a 'tantric' turned rakshasa. Besides Vivek and Karishma, the supernatural drama also starred Dalljiet Kaur, Abhinav Kohli, Apara Mehta and Nirbhay Wadhwa in prominent roles. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
