The second exciting release of the week is The Fall of the House of Usher, Mike Flanagan's latest Netflix horror series. It is an ambitious remix of the works of Edgar Allan Poe, incorporating some of his best-known tales into an overarching story about a dynastic family experiencing a mysterious series of calamities. This gripping tale delves into the lives of ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher, exploring themes of power, privilege, and the consequences of past actions. In a world where wealth and ambition can shield you from almost anything, the Usher siblings will discover that no empire can endure without a solid foundation of truth and justice. The question remains: will they survive long enough to witness its collapse, or will the mysterious woman from their past exact her final vengeance? Bruce Greenwood and Mary McDonnell star as Roderick and Madeline Usher.
