One Piece seems to be Netflix's next attempt at translating a popular anime into live-action after having some not so good outputs, but the trailers of the show do look like that it might just be the slam dunk that fans have been waiting for. Cast

One Piece stars Inaki Godoy as Monkey D Luffy and will be joined by Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Vincent Regan as Vice Admiral Garp and Morgan Davies as Koby. The series also stars Peter Gadiot as "Red-Haired" Shanks, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida and more.

Plot

One Piece follows Monkey D Luffy who assembles the Straw Hat Pirates to explore dangerous oceans that will lead him to a fabled treasure and make him the King of the Pirates. However, with the Navy being on their tail, Luffy must be careful and traverse this risky journey while building friendships and relationships that will change his life forever.

Release Date
