Nia Sharma, who shot to fame with her stint on Zee TV's popular show Jamai Raja and garnered even more popularity after playing the role of Aliyah Mukerjee in Vikram Bhatt's web series Twisted, is currently shooting for the digital reboot of Jamai Raja, which is titled Jamai Raja 2.0. The shooting went on floors last month (July) and the actress, along with co-star Ravi Dubey, Achint Kaur, Sanjay Swaraj, and others, is currently in Pondicherry for the same. Nia, who is pretty much active on social media, has been teasing fans with her sultry pictures from her stay in Pondicherry and she seems to be enjoying beach life. Speaking of Jamai Raja, the show will reportedly not air on Zee TV but their digital platform Zee5. The story was based on how Sid (Ravi Dubey) attempted and succeeded in mending his lady love Roshni’s (Nia Sharma) fractured relationship with her domineering mother Durda Devi (Achint Kaur). The storyline for Jamai Raja 2.0, however, is not known as of now. We also are unaware if Nia, Ravi and Achint will be reprising their Jamai Raja characters or not. Stay tuned for more updates!
