Banoo Main Teri Dulhann fame Ssharad Malhotra tied the knot with his fiancee Ripci Bhatia (who is a Delhi-based designer) in a traditional anand karaj ceremony at a Mumbai gurudwara, followed by a Hindu wedding in the evening, on April 20. The pictures from their wedding celebrations went viral on the internet and fans couldn't get enough of it. Well, Ssharad and Ripci are expected to host a reception for their friends in Mumbai soon. While fans can't wait to know more details on their wedding reception and where the couple is planning to go for their honeymoon, among others, we hear that the newlyweds Ssharad and Ripci aren't going for their honeymoon any soon. Talking about his busy schedule, Ssharad, in a statement to Times of India, said, "I can't afford to go on a break. My show airs six days a week and If I take a break, I will be responsible to a lot of people. The producers of my shows have never pressurized my, but I know my responsibilities as a lead actor. I have been around in this industry for long now and they look up to me and they somewhere expect from me to be actively part of the show. I feel I am answerable to myself and I feel at this time my show airs six days a week and I cannot afford to take a break." Taking just three-day break from work, the actor was back on the sets of Muskaan and started shooting for the show. The team (cast and crew) welcomed him back with a cake cutting ceremony. In the video that is doing the rounds on social media, Ssharad, while cutting the cake, said that this celebration wasn't for him being married but because everyone's happy to see him back on the sets.
On the professional front, Ssharad, who was last seen in a horror film of 2016 titled 1:13:7 Ek Tera Saat, is currently seen in the popular TV show Muskaan, playing the role of Raunak Singh. His last Television show, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki which starred Punar Vivah actress Kratika Sengar in the lead, was aired last on July 27, 2018. Watch this space for further updates.
