Nach Baliye 9: Shantanu Maheshwari's Girlfriend Nityaami Shirke Performs Despite A Grave Injury (Watch Video)
The actress has suffered a near-complete ACL injury and a tear in her medial meniscus and despite her doctor declaring that even walking was difficult for her at this point, Nityaami shot for her performance in a wheelchair.
The second week of performances on Nach Baliye 9 will be really hard on a few couples and ex-couples. While we’ll witness Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao get eliminated, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy will not be performing owing to the latter suffering from jaundice. And now, joining this list is the Jodi of Shantanu Maheshwari and Nityaami Shirke, who despite facing serious issues, managed to perform this week. Nityaami, during rehearsals, landed on her knee after a lift but continued to rehearse, which aggravated her injury. Ultimately, the pair performed, albeit with Nityaami in a wheelchair. Revealing how she was injured, Nityaami, in a lengthy post on Instagram, re-counted her fall and also that her doctor had advised her to not even walk.

In fact, Nityaami has been walking with the support of crutches for the past few days now.
