Now the latest reports suggest that there will be an opening act by Romeo Akbar Walter actress Mouni Roy. Yes, you read that right! According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Mouni, who is a trained classical dancer, will be performing Kathak on "Ghar More Pardesiya" and other tracks in Salman Khan's Nach Baliye 9. Confirming the news, the ported quoted a source (close to the development) as saying, "While it has been pre-recorded for the premiere, she will join Salman and the contestants for the shoot again for a brief segment."
Expressing her love for this (Kathak) dance form, Mouni had earlier told the tabloid, "I would love to do something related to Kathak and other classical dance forms. That’s something I have dreamt of doing since I was a little girl." On the professional front, Mouni's now awaiting her upcoming release Made in China, where she will be seen opposite Rajkumar Rao. Meanwhile, Mouni Roy, who had signed her fifth movie Bole Chudiyan alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is no longer a part of the project. Reportedly, Mouni has quit the film as she felt that there were several discrepancies in the contract and therefore she never signed it at all, while the producer Rajesh Bhatia calls her unprofessional. Talking about Nach Baliye, TV actress Jennifer Winget and comedian Sunil Grover will be hosting the upcoming season. But recently an online portal had reported that Nach Baliye 8 winner Divyanka Tripathi will host the show. Confirming the same, Divyanka too had said, "Vivek and I are doing it together for the pre-launch episode. I always wanted to host with Vivek.
