Popular TV actor Mohit Raina best known for his portrayal of Hindu god Shiva on the mythological show Devon Ke Dev - Mahadev, is currently busy shooting for a new project in Lucknow for over a month now. According to the latest reports, the actor got injured while shooting an action sequence in Malihabad. Yes, Mohit recently encountered an accident on the sets while performing a stunt for his upcoming project and was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Talking about it, the actor, in a statement to 'Times of India', said, "Everything was going as planned during the shoot, and I was having a great time being in Lucknow, then suddenly one day I get hurt badly while performing a stunt for the project for which I am here." Mohit got stitches above his left eye. The actor told the daily, "While performing the stunts, my calculations went a bit wrong and I hurt my left eye so badly that I had to be taken to the hospital and was admitted there for a day. I have got stitches above my left eye. My eye got saved by inches by God's grace and I was back to work the next day."
He further added, "And the best or the worst part of this accident is that just two days before it, I had gone to this same hospital in Gomti Nagar to see a friend, who's admitted there, and on the third day I was brought there as a patient and was having the hospital sandwich! Now, I will be going back there to get my stitches cut on Sunday." Watch this space for further updates.
