Neha Sargam, originally from Patna, Bihar, embarked on her journey in Mumbai after completing her education in her hometown alongside her mother and younger sister. From a young age, Neha exhibited a passion for music and acting, owing to her upbringing in a family steeped in musical tradition. Her maternal grandfather, the renowned classical singer Pandit Siyaram Tiwari of the Darbhanga gharana, greatly influenced her musical aspirations.

According to reports, before pursuing acting, Neha explored her talents in singing and auditioned for Indian Idol Seasons 2 and 4. Born on March 4, 1988, into a middle-class family, she attended Saint Joseph's High School and later pursued a BBA at Patna Women's College. Neha furthered her education with a Master's degree in advertisement and sales promotion, laying a solid foundation for her versatile career in the entertainment industry.
