In case we have not had enough of it, the internet is going to be wildly talking about Netflix for an upcoming couple of weeks. This time the centre of the online discussions would be the new animated show - Love, Death and Robots. The strictly 18+ show is a beautiful blend of erotica, horror and science-fiction. Some of the 18 episodes stick to one genre, some are a mix of all three. Nudity, violence, gore and strong language are there in every episode, but the star attraction is the boldly interesting stories of each one. Love, Death and Robots should be your next binge-watch. Sacred Games 2 Teaser Will be Out in 14 Days? Netflix Hints So! (View Pic).

The animation of the series doesn't follow a fixed style. Some episodes have photo-realistic animation, some have an anime vibe going on, while some are abstract. Imagine Black Mirror but animated and more fun.

Here is our ranking of the 18 episodes of Love, Death and Robots from the best to worst:

18. The Witness

It was pretty clear within the first few minutes that how the story is going to turn out to be. If you didn't maybe you have not consumed enough in time loop genre. Though, props to the really really fantastical depiction of underground BDSM sex market. The brief kinkiness is the only saving grace of this episode.

17. Blindspot

The 8-minutes long episode looks like the odd one out in the series. The action in the episode is absolutely generic and goes on for pretty much the entirety of the episode. The final twist, which plays out in the last few seconds is cool but not a good enough pay off. The only plus is the robot that misses key details of its only job.

16. Ice Age

It's the only episode to use footage of human actors in any capacity. A very quirky take on the human nature of self-destruction. But you are left with the feeling of that you have seen this somewhere before.

15. Fish Night

This reminded me of the early' 90s Cartoon Network, that is if it talked about ghosts and stuff. The animation is ultra cool, but the story not so much. The exposition before the plot unfolds is a buzzkill.

14. Sonnie's Edge

The final twist is ominous, but you will see it coming. The erotic bits of the episode is a high, though.

13. Lucky 13

The sci-fi episode is based on the superstition around the number 13, which is a pretty good mix. The episode is the 13th one in the original chronology and we couldn't find a better spot for it either.

12. When the Yogurt Took Over

Lol wut? An episode about intelligent yogurt bacteria taking over the planet. That's the most WTF story that can give Rick and Morty a run for the money.

11. Sucker of Souls

What if your only weapon against the devil himself was a furry feline? A cool episode with an interesting protagonist. Humour is in plenty.

10. The Dump

You very well know what might happen in the episode. But the trick of pulling the cloth from the table without displacing the glass on it has been done very brilliantly here. The episode leaves you with the most number of questions.

9. Shape-Shifters

The werewolves centric episode is near photo-realistic. It has some of the best werewolf transformation scenes we have seen on the screen. It makes a commentary on the lack of inclusion in the army.

8. Alternate-Histories

You can't help but wish this episode was a reality once you have watched it. It tells you about an app that simulates scenarios that would happen if history hadn't played out as it did. Like, if Hitler had not died what the world would be like. The episode adds a protective layer of humour to this walking on eggshells narrative.

7. The Secret War

The episode has Russians fighting the demons from hell. What else do you want?

6. Suits

Say, Pacific Rim but with a Jai Kisaan vibe.

5. Helping Hand

Gravity meets 127 Hours. The entire episode, despite, relying on an unoriginal idea manages to keep you intrigued with its execution and body horror.

4.  Zima Blue

An abstract episode that has the most unique animation of all. What if the AI gained more than enough knowledge that it is equipped to process? Well, apart from Terminator, this is one scenario that can play out. The show heavily relies on art along with sci-fi.

3. Good Hunting

What a brilliant, brilliant episode. Good Hunting makes the best use of the alternate universe vibe of the show. It starts off with a Stree like storyline and bit by bit transforms into a full-blown sci-fi fable. It commits to creating a universe of its own and gives us a world which looks straight out of a Jules Verne's book.

2. Beyond the Aquila Drift

This Event Horizon meets Interstellar episode has a lot to offer. You get a mysterious storyline, an exciting sex scene and a very very scary ending. The only reason I have put this on the second spot is that photo-realistic animation sort of kills the purpose.

1. Three Robots

Hands down the funniest episode of the series. It combines post-apocalyptic horror and humour to present the most 'cat is out of the box' episode (You will get this one when you watch it).

Love, Death and Robots is an anthology series, so you there is no need for you to watch it chronologically. You can pick up any episode and start from there. Also, what will work in its favour is that the episodes are short ranging from 8-minutes long to 10-minutes.
