The actress got engaged to her real-life beau, actor Shivendraa Om Saainiyol amidst her family and close friends on August 17, 2019. Ruhi and Shivendraa’s is an arranged alliance. In an earlier interview to Bombay Times, Ruhi revealed, “Shivendraa and I have been friends for 13 years, but the thought of marrying each other never crossed our minds till our families suggested it. My father met his father and things fell into place. So, despite knowing each other for so long, we are getting into an arranged marriage (smiles).” Shivendra, on the other hand added, “Our families thought that we would be perfect for each other. Ruhi however, went on to reveal that she did have a huge crush on Shivendraa when they first met, but the duo fell in love only after getting their parents’ approval. The pair’s wedding has been scheduled for some time in December.
