Today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) continuing fighting for babies. Disha asks them to get separated else stay together with harmony. All get very hurt and emotional. Disha consoles Pragya and Purab consoles Abhi. It is an emotional trauma for all. Unwillingly Pragya picks up one of her baby and Abhi takes another baby. Pragya and Abhi get emotional as they decide to get separated. Abhi still asks Pragya not to come back in his life. Pragya also gets angry and blames him for separating her babies. Finally, Pragya steps out of Mehra house with one of the babies. Abhi also moves upstairs. Disha follows her. Pragya decides to keep her baby always happy. She gets saved from getting hit by a bike. By that time she meets a lady who knows her. She questions her about her being alone. Pragya decides not to go back to Mehra house. Abhi also doesn’t want Pragya to come back to him.

The next scene is after a leap of 20 years. In Mehra house, Dadi is performing veneration of god with Meetali and Indu. They hear the sound of breaking glass. They get tensed as they learn that their granddaughter might have woken up. A servant asks Abhi to make his daughter calm. Abhi asks Meera to handle her. She comes to Riya’s room. But they see that Riya has locked her in the cupboard. On the other hand, Pragya is seen in Hoshiarpur with Bijee. She comes back home for her daughter Prachi. Pragya has started a job of teaching in an NGO. It is also learned that Prachi is also like Pragya who helps people who are in trouble. Finally, there is an entry of Prachi who is a shadow of Pragya only. She helps a poor lady and gets blessings from them.

Meera and Meetali come to Riya’s room. They look for Riya. They find her sitting upset inside her cupboard crying for not having sandals inspite of having many pairs of shoes and sandals. Meetali makes her understand that she has lot many numbers of shoes and sandals. Meera tries to make her calm but it doesn’t work. Meera promises Riya that she will get a new dress and shoes as soon as possible. She calls her designer for the same and asks Meetali to leave from there.

On the other hand, Prachi uses a torn pair of sandal as she is exactly the opposite of Riya because she is raised by Pragya who is down to earth. A guy troubles her while she is on the way home. But Prachi doesn’t say anything and leaves from there. Her friend questions her for not opposing or fighting with that guy. But Prachi has learned from her mother Pragya not to create any scene in any situation. Prachi arrives with her cousin. She hugs her mother. Pragya learns that there is some issue. She worries about her. She questions Prachi about the reason for coming late. Prachi and her cousin sister handle the situation by giving some fake reason.
