Today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Meera thinking it is good that Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) went to free that girl, and thinks it was their mistake. She thinks of Rhea’s words that Prachi has stolen her necklace, and then her confession. She thinks to keep Rhea away from Aaliya and thinks she can’t tell anyone about her feelings for Rhea. Rhea comes there and says sorry to Meera, holding her ears and hugs her and thinks she doesn’t want to fall in Meera’s eyes and thinks Prachi might come out of jail, but everyone will think her as thief always.

Pragya (Sriti Jha) is in the taxi, and the driver stops the car and tells that he will check it. Pragya thinks her umbrella got stuck on that man’s car and now this taxi. Abhi comes to the police station and asks about Prachi. Shahana and Prachi see him. Prachi asks if he came for her. Prachi tells that she didn’t steal that necklace and cries. Pragya takes a lift and thanks to the woman. There Prachi says she didn’t steal. Abhi finds Prachi and Pragya’s resembles and asks her not to cry, and says he trust her (Tu dhadkan hai dil track is played in the background), Prachi thanks him.

Abhi says nothing will happen and tells nobody’s daughter will cry on his daughter’s birthday. He asks her not to cry. Shahana says he is a real rockstar. Pragya says Rhea is a lucky girl for having such Papa, rockstar. Meanwhile, Rhea searches for Abhi. Aaliya asks Rhea if she did that work? Rhea says she hugged Meera and apologized. Aaliya thinks if Abhi went to free that girl. Rhea says he is her dad and loves her. Aaliya asks her to calm down and says she just thought. She hugs her and asks her to calm down.

Abhi begins talking to the police inspector asking him to release Prachi. The police inspector says that he won’t release her since he solved the crime and will be in line for a promotion because of this. Abhi asks him for proof that Prachi committed the crime. That’s when the police inspector shows the confession letter to Abhi.

Shahana tells Abhi that Prachi only signed the confession because the inspector was threatening to put both of them in jail. Abhi hears this and also finds out that the FIR is not yet filed. He tears the confession letter. The policeman threatens to put Abhi in jail too for tearing the confession letter. Abhi tells the inspector that Prachi is like a daughter to him and he will protect her with his life if he has to.

Abhi then calls the media to the police station telling them he’s launching a new song there. Media come there and insist to go inside the Police station. Abhi smiles and asks Inspector to welcome media. Purab calls another reporter and asks him to reach Vasant Kunj PS. Aaliya hears him. Inspector says it will be costly for you to mess with me. Abhi says it will be costly for you too.

In the precap, Prachi says Abhi went to meet Maa. Shahana asks her to make Abhi as her father on father’s day. Prachi says she would have made him her father long back.
