Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya has been enjoying an unprecedented run of 5 years. The show that began in 2014, still makes it to the top spot on the TRP charts, thanks to the countless leaps and zillion separations between the lead couple Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha), which seems to be working for the show. The couple who according to the current track is shown to have separated after a 20 years leap, will finally come face to face during the on-going Ganeshotsav celebrations. The latest promo released by the makers sees Abhi perform the aarti at the Puja and Pragya comes to see Abhi and both her daughters at the Puja. But Abhi spots Pragya and the duo have a tearful union.

For those who do not know the pre-leap story, Abhi and Pragya fight over losing Kiara and blame each other. As a result, Abhi and Pragya go their separate ways with each twin and the 20-year leap takes place. Fate puts Rhea and Prachi in the same college where both unaware that they are sisters, are at loggerheads. Prachi taking admission in the same college as Rhea, bring Pragya closer home to Abhi and after a lot of blink and misses, the pair will hopefully reunite during Ganpati. However, as has always been the case with promos being misleading, if Abhi and Pragya will come face to face for real or not, is something that we'll have to wait and watch for.
