Today's episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Pragya(Sriti Jha) seeing Abhi(Shabbir Ahluwalia) -though she does not realise he is Abhi- walking away with Kiara into a lift. Pragya follows, but the elevator takes off. Abhi and Kiara are deep in their conversation as Kiara asks him about his hit songs, and he sings for her. Kiara though is not impressed and sings a rhyme for him. The lift suddenly stops, and the elevator gets dark. Abhi grabs Kiara's hand, and she comforts him and also switches on the mobile light for him. Pragya sees that the elevator has stopped and she calls for help.

Pragya calls on Tarun's phone, and it is with Kiara. She talks to Pragya. Pragya in panic starts comforting her daughter, but she asks Pragya to comfort the person who is with her. Pragya though says she does not want to talk to anyone. Kiara makes Pragya speaks to Abhi and Pragya is dumbstruck to hear Abhi's voice. She gets all emotional. Abhi hangs up the call as he thinks the network is terrible. Pragya wonders if Abhi is really here and thinks that he should not be.

Kiara and Abhi are discussing lifts when the light comes back, and Kiara demands Abhi's phone so that she can call Pragya. Abhi is shocked as Kiara rightly punches his password and opens the phone. Later Abhi asks her if she can read hearts too. Kiara says that her mother is scared of cockroaches and jumps on the bed when she sees them. This gets Abhi thinking about Pragya. Later he asks her if he can steal her away from her Dada. Kiara says she cannot live without her mum so he will have to steal them both. Abhi says he just wants her. Pragya is seen restarting the lift and the lift works. Kiara runs out but asks Abhi what his name is. Abhi tells her his full name. Pragya is seen running to meet her daughter.
