Khichdi Written Episode Update, May 13, 2018: Babuji Tries Protecting His Clan From a Serial Head Shaver Who Hates Fools

Today's episode of Khichdi starts with Babuji getting confused as he sees Praful walk in from work midday just to wake Hansa. When questioned Hansa takes offense and asks Babuji if he wanted her to keep sleeping. Babuji wants to know if she could not have put an alarm in the phone to which pat comes the reply from Hansa's loving husband that the phone was with him. Then comes the turn where Sahshikala masi's obituary has been posted in the newspaper and Babuji gets the shock of his life when he sees his own picture in place of Shashikala's. On being questioned Himanshu says he had a very small picture of Shashikala masi and the newspaper guys wanted abigger one, well Babuji tries to remind him that he himself is alive for now. Hansa retorts that it is Babuji's problem and not Himanshu's. Well all said and done Babuji wonders when his people will get a little more sensible.

He is ardently praying for a miracle when Jayshree consoles him with thepla and achar. He eats the achar with interest only to know later that it was actually from a factory that was shut down for food poisoning. Later he reads a newspaper article about a serial bal kaatu who is shaving the heads of all the fools around the area. Babuji asks Jayshree to find out where their three idiots are. Hansa, Praful and Himanshu have reached a hospital with a pressure cooker. They go on to ask a poor man with a broken leg as to where they can get the pressure cooker repaired. The man tries his best to explain to them this is a hospital in vain. Later he goes on with the promise to get a man to repair the pressure cooker. Babuji and Jayshree are trying to reach the three on phone with Babuji holding all of their phones in his hand. Jayshree realises this and tells Babuji he might be the serial bal kaatu's first victim.

Jayshree and Babuji try and figure out who might be the man. They remember that at DSouza's party Parminder had proven to be the biggest fool during a tail the donkey game. Later Babuji tells Jayshree how after Shashikala Masi's death on not getting her dead body he had got into a fight with Peter the doctor and finally Peter had threatened to shave his head and throw him in the sea. Jayshree thinks she has a plan to save the three idiots and she says that they should take part in the quiz contest organised by the Parekh society. Jayshree has already downloaded all the questions and answers and made the three memorize it. Later as the three go for the quiz Babuji finds out that the questions have been changed. Now Jayshree feels sorry for the quiz master. As it would be the three musketeers drive the quiz master nuts. Jayshree gets a clue from the threat letters and realises that the letters are written from a old typewriter. They later ask the three to return home soon as their lives are in danger. The problem is all the taxi people run into hiding on realizing that Praful, Hansa and Himanshu are on the road together. Finally it is revealed that it was all Babuji's set up and it was she who was writing the threat letters so he can scare some sense into the three.
