Khichdi Written Episode Update, June 3, 2018: Have The Parekhs Finally Managed to Kill Babuji? Find Out!
Police is relieved as they can finally get rid of the Parekhs once and for all
Today's episode of Khichdi starts with Jayshree waling away on call to her Baa as she says that they might have just killed Babuji. Now begins the story of the murder. Jayshree's lagtha hae brother Jignesh was visiting, and Praful had managed to break Babuji's leg by a hammer as he was trying to fix the poor man's shoes. There is an argument when Himanshu rubs a whole piece of raw turmeric on Babuji's leg as he tries to soothe his pain.
Babuji yells at Himanshu and asks for an ice pack. Praful gets the head of a mannequin which has eyes on them. Praful argues that Babuji never spoke about the cold ice. Jayshree is frustrated and asks Himanshu to throw Babuji in the river. Bauji is thrown away, and they ask him to take a good bath and come out as there is no water. Between Hansa wonders why there is no water as she bathed in 40 buckets of water herself. Later Jayshree notices that Babuji is not surfacing and now they panic.
There is a search team sent out to look for Babuji, but they manage to find all the garbage but not Babuji. Himanshu blurts out that he should be there as they had thrown him there. The police are alerted by this. Jayshree tries in vain to keep the group from revealing the truth, but Hansa manages to reveal the story loud and clear and the police inspector records it. The inspector gives them seven days time and says that if Babuji does not return by that time, then he will arrest them.
Jayashree and the family mourn Babuji. Praful and Himanshu wail away competing with each other. Praful remembers how only two days back he had accompanied Babuji to a store to get Jayshree a gift. There Babuji had ordered him not to speak. Later though he had to withrdrw his order because he gets locked up in the bathroom. The storekeeper manages to break a priced watch as Praful pisses him off.
Hansa is back then with Jignesh, and they have arranged for Babuji's memorial. Jayshree notices the inspector there and says that Babuji is alive. Jignesh reveals that he has also got all of their pictures in that case. Jignesh sings some fantastic qawali for the memorial as well. The inspector is happy as he can now free the world of the Parekhs. Somewhere far away Babuji has been rescued by some fishermen who are allergic to Hindi. Babuji strives to speak to them. Babuji comes to know from the news that the Parekhs are being questioned for his murder and he enjoys this. He thinks that he would hide for some days until they are correctly scared.
Jayshree decides to run away, but Hansa decides to disguise as Kashiben and ruins their first attempt by her pinga dance. Later Jayshree makes Hansa quiet and dresses up all as police as she almost manages to fool the confused inspector. Jignesh walks in and ruins it for them as he reveals all of their identities.
Babuji decides he cannot stay on with this Hindi allergic people and decides to go home as the inspector might just kill his children. He learns finally that the fishermen are not allergic to Gujarati. Jayashree manages to run with the family and the police jeep. They throw Jignesh away on the road with some information that they are going to dress up as Mahabarath characters and take the Goa bus. They finally though dress like hippies and decide to go to Dehradun. The police though manage to identify Hansa who cannot stay quiet for long. The inspector is almost shooting them when Babuji walks in and rescues his clan. He though ends up in the river towards the end.
