Today's episode of Khichdi starts with the announcement about a fancy dress competition at Jacky and Chakki's school. The children are needed to dress up as their family members. The fancy dress begins as Dinesh keeps mocking the Parekh kids. The entire school enacts the Parekhs. Jayshree wonders why everyone is enacting them. Babuji and Jayshree realise that this is being done so that the children feel ashamed about their family.

Jayshree and Babuji realise that they should do something that would make the children feel proud of them. The children walk in with legal papers demanding separation from the family. The Parekhs are shaken, and they go on to meet the teacher Kumari. Hansa keeps getting scared of Teacher Kumari as she refuses to bear the Parekh nonsense. Teacher Kumari suggests that they should take part in the cricket tournament.

The tournament becomes a big disaster as Hansa will not run, and Babuji will not stop arguing. Next is the funfair and it becomes another disaster as Praful makes sure it does. Jayshree is disappointed that the kids will now be separated from them. They come to realise that already Mrs Briganza is ready to adopt them. Later though Teacher Kumari tells them that the kids are in the hospital. The Parekhs rush to the hospital to find Dinesh's son Rishabh who needs a kidney donor.

The Parekhs fight over who would give them the kidney. The kids are happy to realise that these people though have no brains have huge hearts and decide that they should not be leaving them. Now comes Babuji and Jayshree's turn to make Himanshu realise his love for Parminder by forcing him to get married to someone else. Himanshu decides to propose and rushes to the Parminder Niwas. The confused Parminders make a parade to get to the Parminder who is in love with him.

They have some romantic moments together. Himanshu has a dream where his father reminded him about a promise he had made. Himanshu now wants to do some business. The first take is on the entertainment business, and the guinea pig for this experiment is the beggar from their colony. The beggar is shocked towards the end of the ordeal.

Next is an attempt to make an event management company which is foiled by Himanshu as he arranges for huge sized snacks. Jayshree prompts her mother to break jail for her help, and she comes up with an idea for an award ceremony. The awards ceremony is Parekh Kamgar award.
