Television actress Kavita Kaushik of SAB TV’s comedy show F.I.R. fame Chandramukhi Chautala is not on Facebook anymore. The 37-year-old quit the popular social-networking site over morphed nude photos controversy. Kavita in a detailed last FP post stated how the Facebook had become a nasty platform that has become ‘an assault on her sense of taste, time and attention’. Recognised as one of the hottest TV actresses, Kavita married Ronnit Biswas in 2017, and it is understandably irritating to come across ‘hookup rumours’. But the worst-case scenario was Kavita Kaushik’s morphed nude images that circulated aggressively on the online platform. Seeing enough nonsense, Kavita Kaushik bid goodbye to Facebook much to the disappointment of her real fans and supporters. But her fans need not be too heartbroken as the gorgeous television personality is very much present on Instagram and Twitter. You can still follow her on photo-sharing and micro-blogging platforms. On Tuesday, Kavita wrote a note (purportedly her last post on Facebook) slamming the online miscreants who find it easy to target an actress by circulating her fake naked images. Apart from jotting down perils of cyber harassment, hurting a woman’s dignity, Kavita pointed out the general negativity on Facebook. She wrote, "Facebook is a time guzzling monster where friends seem to be arguing strangers, colleagues seem to be political party candidates preparing to take over the country cos change toh hone se rahi , I swear IL end up getting a huge dog into my flat and give it the dullest life If I see one more dog video! and a place where one gets to see morphed nudes of yourself if one is an actress ! All this wouldve hooked me a couple of years back (not the morphed pics that always makes me livid) but now somehow it seems to have become an assault to my sense of taste, time and attention, So I really think Im a misfit here. Clear the clutter is my new thing you can call it a fad, call it anything behind me those who wanna cos I am out, any of you who genuinely gives a f*ck has my number, call me come over theres always food n drinks at home we can socialise n talk about anything ! anytime! And have way more fun I assure u, so Fu FB ! Bye doston aur parivar , mast raho [sic].”
It is sad to see a personality, a no-nonsense and tough person like Kavita leaving a public platform over cyber harassment. Of course, she remains a strong-willed influential figure who took the big decision on her terms. But the real loss is of Kavita Kaushik’s die-hard fans and followers. Come on’, it is Chandramukhi Chautala star not giving her fans on Facebook with a daily dose of inspiration and much love. While we know fans are going to miss Kavita on FB, she is very much present and rocking on Twitter and Instagram.
