The latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati debuted on August 12, with Amitabh Bachchan back with his hosting. Wednesday's episode began with the previous contestant, Vishnu Managoli, deciding to quit and take home the INR 12.50 lakh winning amount. The hot seat was then graced by Nareshi Meena, who hails from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. She revealed that she had been bravely battling a brain tumour and participated in the show to earn enough amount for her treatment. Naresh told Big B, "Mujhe brain tumour hua hai, sir. Khud ko yahi batati hu ki koi tension nahi hai. Tujhe koi bimari nahi hai. (I am suffering from brain tumour, but I keep reminding myself that there's no need to worry. Taking time, Nareshi chose option D, Tuberculosis, which was the right answer. FYI, French scientist and physician Albert Calmette created the first snake antivenom. Calmette, along with Camille Guérin, developed the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine for tuberculosis in 1921 in France. The vaccine was named after the two extraordinary Doctors.
