Mumbai, August 14: Season 11 of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is about to start and there is huge excitement among the people to take part in the game and win money. Tapping this sentiment, there are numerous scams and frauds that take place in the name of KBC every year. With Big B back on TV, so are the conmen who are all out to lure people and dupe them. Sony TV channel, which will be airing the game show has, therefore, released a video ad to alert the people regarding the scam. Kaun Banega Crorepati Kicks Off With Inspiring Promo.

The video features Amitabh Bachchan, where he says that there is no monetary transaction involved at any stage in the KBC game, right from the registration. If anyone is asking for money, it is a fraud and they are not associated with the show or channel in any way. The video ends by saying that KBC doesn't ask money from the audience, it, in turn, rewards them with money.

These frauds increase usually during the run-up to the season and during the game. KBC has an online game, where users can take part and win money. So when they get calls from fraudsters informing that they have won money, they find it difficult to make out if it is a genuine or a fake call.

The upcoming season is all about chasing your dreams no matter what, as the theme of the show is--Vishwas hai to us par khade Raho, ade Raho. The channel has aggressively started promoting the teasers of the show on all the platforms.
