Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 fame Parth Samthaan’s father breathed his last on Friday evening. Earlier today, a source close to the actor revealed that Mr Lagathe was admitted in a hospital in Pune. The cause of the sufferings has not been confirmed. The actor had left for Pune yesterday night when he got a call that his father has been admitted into a hospital in a critical state.

The family of Parth has so far stayed away from the limelight. His parents have been living in Pune and the fans get to see them through the actor’s occasional social media posts. Going by the social media accounts, it can be said, that Parth was very close to his parents.

Parth had recently bought his first house in Mumbai and said it was his gift to his parents. The actor took to his social media accounts to share some pictures of his new home and captioned the same as, "Gift to my Parents —-MY FIRST HOUSE IN MUMBAI This feeling is beyond happiness ! Since the time one travels to a new city to aspire his/her dream .. you are always away from your home .. and while pursuing your dream you want to get your ‘home sweet home’ asap ..
