In the last episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, we saw a guilt-ridden Bajaj refuse to get out on bail while Sharda berates the Sharmas. Later, Anurag vows to find out the reason why Prerna married Mr Bajaj, despite loving him with her whole heart. Tonight’s episode starts with Prerna (Erica Fernandes) coming to meet Bajaj (Karan Singh Grover) who is shocked to see her and tells her that she should not have come here as it is not a good place. Prerna confronts Bajaj and asks why did he not sign the bail papers and that everyone in the house is worried for him. Prerna says everything is happening because of her as she did not support him and that is why he is doing this all and tells him to stop behaving childishly. At the house, Anurag (Parth Samthaan) gets ready to go to the office, but Mohini comes and tells him he cannot go now as his health is not fine. Anurag tries to convince Mohini that he will feel fresh when he will go out and asks permission to go out, she hugs him. Back at the police station, Prerna says he wants to show her how much angry he is. Bajaj tells her not to keep saying again and again that he is guilty and that he is here just because she wanted him to be in the jail and that he will not come out or even home, till it is proven to her that he is innocent. Bajaj says it matters to him what she thinks about him and says he does not want her to feel that he is evil and he also has a heart which needs love. Prerna leaves.

Later, in the Basu household, friends come to visit Mohini. Anurag takes his leave and promises that he will come home soon. Meanwhile, Bajaj thinks he should not have been rude to Prerna and feels bad that she was angry with him. Later on, Shivani calls Anurag and asks about his well-being. Back at the house, Mohini is having a good time with her friends and one of them tells her that she has a matchmaking business, they discuss how she arranges marriages. Mohini tells her that she wants a girl who will accept Anurag with his past and she should be able to make Anurag happy. Meanwhile, at the police station, Sharda and Prerna return. Bajaj pacifies Sharda and tells her that he does not want to return home without being proven innocent. Just as Sharda leaves, Bajaj holds Prerna’s hands and tells her that he will never explain himself and says that all this is happening as he wants her to understand him properly. Just then Prerna sees Anurag coming that way and remembering his words, thinks that Anurag will start living his life when he is sure that Prerna has started her new life with Bajaj. She suddenly holds Bajaj’s hands and tells him that Mehra will soon come to release him and that she is missing him a lot in the house. Seeing Prerna’s concern for Bajaj, Anurag gets furious.

In the next episode, Anurag tells Prerna that she saw him and was acting concerned for Bajaj and that he knows everything. Back at home, Sharda and Mohini get into a war of words and Mohini taunts Prerna over going to Bajaj for help and marrying him.
