Meanwhile, there was news that Karan Singh Grover has been roped to play Mr Bajaj, however, later the reports suggested that KSG is in two minds about taking up the role. Now the latest reports suggest that the makers are in talks with Bepannaah actor Harshad Chopda to step into Ronit Roy's shoes as Mr Bajaj in the reboot version.

Speaking of KSG, Tellychakkar had quoted a source as saying, "Karan will most probably be a part of the show, but discussions are on for the same.
