Today’s episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starts with Anupam telling Nivedita that why did she tell Mohini to get Anurag (Parth Samthaan)and Mishka engaged. Nivedita tells that she knows that Anurag as feelings for Prerna (Erica Fernandes) but now Mishka has come in his life so Anurag will forget Prerna. Nivedita tells Prerna insulted her so she won’t give her another chance. Mohini sees Anurag get ready for his engagement and feels emotional and cries. Anurag sees her cry and asks for the reason, Mohini tell she is very happy and hugs him. Mohini tells when she sees him she feels everything so beautiful, and today he is going to start a new life with another person. Mohini tells that her small boy has become a big boy now and she is proud of him and says thank you for giving her this happiness and hugs him again. Mohini goes from there and tells him to get ready fast.

Moloy comes there and tells Anurag that your mother talks so sweetly that you obey whatever she says. Moloy says no doubt that Mohini cares and loves all of us, we think we are doing what we want but no we are doing as she wants us to do and asks Anurag whether he understand what he wants to tell him. Anurag asks Moloy today what Mohini made him do, Moloy answers that said she made you do this engagement. Anurag says yes but what is the problem and see how happy she is. Moloy asks Anurag that this engagement he is doing only for his mother. Anurag tells that he is happy with Mishka. Moloy tells in the office you had told me something that was that. Anurag flashbacks and things what all he had said to Moloy. Just as Anurag wanted to say something Mohini comes and takes Moloy with him as all the guests are waiting down.

Seeing Anupam coming out of his bathroom Anurag is surprised and asks him how come he is in his bathroom, Anupam tells that his bathroom flush was not working so he used Anurag’s bathroom. Anupam asks Anurag did he think about the dream he saw in the morning. Anurag tells it is just that the person who is around us we think about them, nothing special. Anupam goes from there.

Meanwhile, Prerna thinks about Nivedita and how she conveyed the messaged to her about Anurag’s engagement. Shivani comes and tells Prerna that it is not compulsory to attend Anurag’s engagement party. Prerna says Anurag is her friend and that she is happy for him and tells Shivani to let us go. Prerna tells Shivani that Anurag has been there with her whenever she needed in good and bad times, so she should also be a part of his happiness, Shivani hugs her, while Prerna cries (aanku mein tere saaye chahu tu hu na pawo track is played in the background)

Mohini brings a chunri and tells Anurag that he has to give this chunri to their khuldevi before his engagement, Anurag thinks about Prerna and is lost in her thoughts. Mohini asks him what he is thinking. Anurag says nothing just that he saw the chunri it reminded him of something, Mohini tells yes this chunri looks similar to the one you had got for me saving from the fire. The person who made this both chunri are the same one. Mohini tells Anurag to come down and goes from there.

Komolika, Mishka and her dad come in the Basu house, Anupam sees Komolika coming and smiles. Anurag also sees Komolika and thinks what is she doing here. Nivedita and Mohini welcome Komolika and Mohini introduce her to Anurag. Komolika tells Anurag that she is Mishka’s sister. Mishka and Chaubeji come inside and greet everyone. Komolika tells Mishka that he is looking handsome today. Komolika sees Anurag searching for someone and thinks who it might be.

Prerna and her family also come to Basu house. Veena asks Rajesh whether Mohini will like the gift they have brought, Rajesh tells her not to think much and enjoy the function. In the function, Anupam is starring Komolika, Nivedita comes and sees and shouts at him and tells not to stare at her and do his work. Komolika sees Anurag and comes to talk to him and tells him that he has the habit of breaking a heart. While Komolika Is talking she sees Anurag seeing Prerna and smiling.

In the precap, the engagement function is going on suddenly Prerna falls and Anurag goes to hold her.
